Book Description
When the Democrats and the press pounce on the video of Sarah Moons with candidate Tom Thomas, Sarah temporarily becomes the most famous woman in the country. Now Sarah sets the record straight, explaining the true course of her sexual education in Wilma Kauffen's pitch-perfect send-up of sex and the body politic.
Don't let the description fool you. "The Shame Artist" is less about celebrity and politics, and a whole lot more about the raucous misadventures of an accomplished trollip. Whether its in trains, high school bathrooms, beach mansions or dark S/M clubs, "Sarah Moon" resigns herself to her own overactive sex life. The writing is hot, smart, and achingly hilarious. We're introduced to a dizzying variety of characters which include the Devil, mousy voyeurs, stern nuns, horny beach bums, cruel artists, and my favorite...a slavic, whip wielding sadist with the perfect accent. "'Dhon'dt be frosh!' KEEE-SRICK!" Throughout, our heroine gives us a satisfying glimpse of how erotic shame can heighten a nymphomaniac's libido. And even though it is fiction, "The Shame Artist" is sure to tease and resonate with those of us who understand the concept. This book is hands down one of the hottest and cleverest adult books I've had the pleasure to read.
